Sam Dedetoku is a legendary Nollywood actor, director, producer, politician, lecturer and a philanthropist. He was born on 17th November 1965 in Lagos State, Nigeria. He is currently 51 years old. He is biologically from Okrika in Rivers State, in the southern part of Nigeria but grew up in Lagos, Nigeria.
He got his first & master degree from the University of Port Harcourt, River State where he read Theatre Arts. He is currently a lecturer at the University of Port-Harcourt, River State where
lectures in the Department of Theatre Arts. Sam Dede has acted in more than 100 Nollywood movies which include Isakaba, Igodo, Mission to Nowhere, Darkest Night, etc.
In 2005, Sam Dede won the Africa Movie Academy Awards for Best Actor in a Supporting Role. In 2012, Sam Dede was appointed by the River State Governor as the Director-General of the Rivers State Tourism Development. Sam Dede is one of the most gifted actors in Nollywood. He is very talented in acting and interpretation of roles.
Sam Dede is currently married with many children and is based in Port Harcourt, River State with his Family. He has won several African Movie Awards such as most prominent actor in Nigeria & best actor in Nigeria.
