Charles Inojie, Helen Paul dazzle in Mr Potosky
Versatile comedy actor, Charles Inojie, and Helen Paul have dazzled in a new blockbuster movie, Mr Potosky. Produced from the stables of De-Kross Movie Productions, Mr Potosky has been tipped to set a new pace in Nollywood.
The multi-million naira film, directed by Amayo Uzo-Philip, also stars Bishop Imeh and Chike Anyawu among others. It will be officially released on Friday, 27 February.
Christopher Ozoemena, the Chief Executive Officer of De-Kross Movie Productions, who produced the movie, assured that Mr Potosky will surpass the sheer success recorded by many of his previous movies.
Ozoemena, who has produced multiple award-winning movies like Total War, Caught in the Act, Beauty and the Beast, The Maidens, The Kingdom and Aki the Blind, said he has shot glamorous and serious stories in the past, but decided to wow movie buffs with something more soothing this time around.
“So, I had to get those who know how to act comedy that has direction and moral lesson because I always want people to learn after watching my films. I got wonderful actors, director and technical crew who did a great job on this movie,” he reiterated.
The film is reaching out to families who don’t teach their wards good morals. Potosky, played by Charles Inojie, is a cook to a Senator. The Senator has a problem with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and he was arrested. Then Potosky, who thought the Senator would never return, went to his village with his master’s money, cars, clothes and other valuables.
Potosky started deceiving girls in the village to the extent that parents were forcing their female children to seduce him, and he eventually impregnated many of them. He also duped some of them financially by the time he was broke.
“The message of the film is for people to believe in themselves and be contented with what God has given them. People should not be carried away with material things –don’t judge people by the cars they drive or the clothes they wear,” Ozoemena, popularly known as De-Kross stated.Charles Inojie, Helen Paul dazzle in Mr Potosky

Things you should not do after eating..............
Many of the eating habits we indulge ourselves in are absolutely dangerous!
While many of them cause more harm than good, we often feel that, because we enjoy these habits, they are healthy. Here are five things you must not do just after a full meal.
1. Don’t Sleep!
Have you ever tried sleeping immediately after a major meal? When you woke up, how did you feel? I’m sure you woke up still feeling full from the meal. This is because the meal has not been digested at all. This can affect your intestines in a bad way. Also, a nap immediately after a meal is also not relaxing.
2. Don’t Smoke!
Experiments from experts show that smoking a cigarette after meal is equivalent to smoking ten cigarettes at other times, increasing the risk of cancer. In any case, smoking is harmful to your body and you should not smoke at any time.
3. Don’t Bath!
Bathing or showering after a major meal will cause an increased blood flow to the hands, legs and body, and the amount of blood around the stomach will therefore decrease. This could weaken the digestive system in our stomach. Bathing after a meal delays digestion. The blood around the stomach flows to other parts of the body during a shower instead of helping with digestion.
4. Don’t Eat Fruit!
Different foods digest at different speeds. If you must eat fruit, eat it first as it is the easiest to digest. Fruit should be eaten an hour before a meal or two hours after a meal. Fruit will not be digested properly if you eat it directly after a meal. If you eat fruit just after a full meal, this can cause the stomach to be bloated with air.
5. Don’t drink tea.
Tea leaves are acidic and will affect the digestion process. If you consume protein in the meal, the acid from the tea will harden the protein content, making it difficult to digest. Drinking tea immediately after a meal will also interfere with iron absorption by the body. Avoid tea one hour before and after meals.
These 5 points listed above are some of the commonest mistakes people make immediately after eating. Remember, health is wealth, therefore, you need to take great care of yourself!

Lagos PDP Elders Tackle Bode George Over Comment On Obasanjo
Elders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State have berated a chieftain of the party, Chief Olabode George, for his comments on former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
In a statement by Prof Tunde Olayinka, the elders said: “Whilst we are shocked at Chief Obasanjo’s action since an elder statesman is expected to be politically matured, we condemn in totality the words of Bode George, who called the former President an ingrate.
“Bode George is the ingrate not Obasanjo. He lacks the moral right to insult the PDP’s National Leader, his benefactor and former godfather.
“The Yoruba have a saying that a river that forgets its source will dry up forever. Obasanjo made Bode George who he is today.
“We want to recall that Bode George met us in PDP. He did not attend the April 1999 Jos convention, which delivered Obasanjo.
“When Bode George joined the PDP, he was not recognised. At that time, Sarunmi was the PDP arrowhead in Lagos.
“At the PDP Congress in October 1999 held at 1, Akilo Street, Ikeja, Obasanjo sent a directive to the delegates that Bode George should be imposed as the National Vice Chairman (Southwest) and Alhaji Murtala Ashorobi should be the Lagos State Chairman.
“Sarunmi became a minister at the time and Obasanjo told everybody that Bode George was his eyes and ears and anybody who did not want him should leave the PDP.
“Had he risen through the party hierarchy as required, he would not disrespect or misunderstand democratic norms.
“He presides over the Lagos PDP affairs with military precision.
“Why does Bode George try to play god all the time? He has deceived Jonathan and is still deceiving him.
“Bode George is not our arrowhead and we reject him as a leader. He does not represent our views.
“He is a beneficiary of the crisis between Obasanjo and Jonathan so he should stop fanning the embers of discord”.
