Though Toyin Abraham and Adeniyi Johnson have since gone their separate ways, with both already linked to different partners, which means they have both shared different beds to the knowledge of all, but what most of their fans however do not know is that, the estranged couple are still legally married!

According to Broadway Africa TV,  Toyin had wanted to call it off legally soon as they got separated but Adeniyi delayed the legal separation and still holding it back till now!

Their source told them; "Toyin's Lawyer had called Niyi to finalise the divorce. Instead of Niyi's lawyer contacting Toyin's, Niyi showed up at the meeting alone without his lawyer at the mall in Ikeja. After deliberations and discussions, Niyi said he would like to consult some people first and he should be allowed to get in touch with his lawyer and agreed to get back to them. When they didn't hear from him, Toyin tried reaching out to him personally to sort the issue but as we speak Toyin is yet to hear from him as well." he said. So now you know the latest about them.

My Mum Sold Her Things To Pay Our School Fees – Nollywood Actress

In a new revealing and exciting interview, popular Yoruba actress, Ronke Ojo opens up on her humble begins and shot into fame.

Veteran Nolloywood actress, Ronke Ojo, popularly known as Ronke Oshodi Oke, shares a special bond with her mother. In this interview, she talks about this and other sundry issues. What are you working on currently?
I’m working on three new projects. The first two are , Feyintolaolu, Oshunsegense and the third one doesn’t have a title yet.  The two movies with titles will be out before the end of the year, while the last one doesn’t have a date yet.

What does your mum do for a living?

She used to be a teacher back then but now she has a shop where she just goes to fight boredom and maintain some level of activity.
What was it like growing up as a teacher’s daughter?

My mum is a very good woman. She is always good at what she does and she was able to relate well with us. But you know teachers, what they want is what they want. When my mum wants you to do something you must do it. She did a very good job as a mum but she was very strict.
Were you not afraid when she had to go through your schoolwork?
We were always afraid. She made us read so much and she would thoroughly go through our books. She made sure we did all our schoolwork before we were allowed to play.
Did she use the cane often or she preferred to talk?
She preferred talking to us but sometimes she used the cane.
But would you have preferred the cane instead of her talk?
Of course I preferred her talking to me than using the cane. I have always been a quiet child. I did not like the cane and she knew that I did not like the cane so she would rather talk to me. At times, she would threaten us with cane, by saying, “I will beat you, you better behave yourself,” and whenever I heard this I would quickly do what I ought to do.
Despite being quiet, was there a time you made her really mad at you?
Before I came into the industry, I was very quiet. But when you are in the industry, because of some things, you have to talk. Even when you are quiet in nature, you have to talk. I was quiet but tough.
As a strict mum, did she like you acting?
My parents did not like it at all. Most especially my dad; may his soul rest in peace. Amen! He did not like it but at a point he asked me if that was what I really wanted to do and he said to me, “Okay if this is what you want, I would support you.”

Was there a time your acting got you into trouble with your mum?

No, there has never been a time like that in my career till now; that someone would call my mum and say that I had done sometime wrong. It has never happened.

What is her best dish?

She loves pounded yam and vegetable soup (eforiro) and she also likes rice.
What food does she cook that you love?
I love her stew. When she cooks it, she cooks it very well.

What is your mum like now compared to before?

Beautiful! Now she is soft. She listens more and she relates with her children more. I was like were you not the one that brought us up, what changed and she is like, it’s life, as you are growing up you tend to loosen your hand.
As teenager, what was your relationship with your mum like?
Our relationship was good. When I was a teenager, especially my dad, he would always advise me. My mum also did but she was always the hyper type and my dad was kind of cool. Back then, my dad would call me, talk to me, advise me, go through the scriptures with me, but my mum would scream, ‘What are you doing?’
What did she tell you about boys?
Just like every mother tells her children – boys are not good and all that.

When last did you see her?

She lives with me now.
What is her relationship like with her grandchildren?
She is kind with them and she relates well with them.
What are the things that make her happy?
She is always happy when we are doing well and fine. She loves to be around her children and grandchildren. Also, we try as much as possible to make her happy too.

What was the greatest sacrifice she made for you as a child?

My mum did a lot; it was not easy. When we were growing up, things weren’t easy. At a point she sold some of her things just for us to be educated.

What are the features you picked from your mum?

I took her stature. My dad is very quiet just as I am and when you see him you will know I look like him.

Were you closer to your dad or mum?

Well you know how a typical Nigerian mum is but that doesn’t mean I don’t love her. But my mum, being a teacher, was very strict too. So, I tilted more towards my dad. My mum is also very nice but I really can’t tell which of them I am closer to because they both have their strengths.

What are the things your mum enjoys doing?

She loves to take long walks and she dances a lot.
Is your mummy very fashionable?
Ha! You need to see the way she dresses. My mum is very fashionable. She loves to dress up even when she is not going anywhere.

Jay-Z and Beyonce are officially balling on both coasts - they've gobbled up another 8-figure property, and this one's in the Hamptons.

Jay and Bey plunked down a cool $26 million for the 7 bedroom, 7.5 bathroom pad in luxurious East Hampton, NY. The crib's no joke! The 12,000 square ft. pad sits on 2 acres of land with scenic water views of the Georgica Pond.

It's got everything hip hop royalty wants - bathrooms sculpted with Italian marble, an infinity edge pool and an 1,800 square ft. guest cottage. The kitchen features an 18th century carved stone fireplace.

The original structure was built over a century ago but Jeffrey Collé spent 2 years redesigning the current masterpiece. Great sequel to their roughly $90 million West Coast purchase.

Nigeria Set To Prosecute 2,541 Boko Haram Suspects

Hundreds Of Boko Haram Militants Surrender In Chad

The Federal Government has said that plans on how to handle the cases of suspected Boko Haram terror group members, totaling 2,541 – currently detained at Wawa Barracks in Kainji, Niger State, and Maiduguri prison in Borno State – are underway.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, said that a special prosecution arrangement already put it in place would commence the trial of 1,670 of the detainees in Wawa Barracks, Kainji,  Niger,  in October.
The statement, which was signed by the AGF’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Salihu Isah, ‎disclosed that after exhausting the cases in Kainji, the cases of  651 suspects currently detained at Maiduguri prison, would be taken up by the special arrangement.

It added that due to lack of evidence for any successful prosecution, 220 other suspects detained in the Kainji detention facility would be released and subjected to “de-radicalisation programme”.
The AGF’s spokesperson stated that the 220 suspects constituted one of the four categories of terrorist suspects detained in the Kainji facility.
The statement quoted him as saying that “Boko Haram suspects who were hitherto investigated by the Joint Investigation Team set up by the Defence Headquarters otherwise known as DHQ/JIT and case files transmitted to the Honourable Attorney-General of the Federation and after a careful review of the cases based on their individual merit, it was discovered that they have no prima facie cases that will sustain a charge against them in any court of law hence were recommended for release and handed over to the Office of the National Security Adviser  for rehabilitation and/or de-radicalisation.”

Single Elvina Ibru Speaks About Her Kind Of Man

Daughter of business magnate Olorogun Ibru, Elvina Ibru, is in the news again. The very social lady this time spoke with The Sun, where she let us into her world- stating her relationship status- single and why she has been celibate. A lot of people seem to be celibate, lately, so cool!

Elvina you are a beautiful woman and ever since you trimmed down, you have been simply breathtaking. Tell us about the man in your life?

(Laughter) Thank you. There is no man in my life o; really.

Is it that you are not proud of the guy you are dating right now?

No, there is no man.

Are you celibate?

Yes, I have been for a while

Why?

Why not? Do you jump into bed with just anybody. I am not saying I am celibate for religious reasons. You don’t just jump into bed with just anybody but if I meet a nice person, why not?

What are those qualities you look out for in a guy?

Hmmm… The ones that they never have (laughter). People say it is not about the looks but the heart and I say that is nonsense (laughter). The first thing you see is the physical. I like tall dark men and I don’t like those with potbellies. As far as character is concerned, honesty is important no matter how much you have, if you made your money dis-honestly I no fit follow you. For instance, if you are doing 419, it won’t happen.

Honesty in your relationship is important. I always tell guys, maybe they think I am joking. Try and be open. If you have been messing around as a guy, tell me. If for instance you play away match and carry something, tell me; don’t hide it and don’t deprive me of sex because you know you have something because I will begin to worry you about myself. ‘Is it that this guy does not love me anymore?’ Just tell me ‘babe, I mess up-o, see wetin happen.’ I would say ‘oya come, make we go see doctor first, let us go and look at the case’ and after that we can talk about it because what I need from a man is a best friend.

You have to be my best friend and in order for that to happen you have to be open and honest with me so we understand each other. So if for instance I am dating you now and someone sees you with a girl and then she comes to me and says ‘I saw Tony the other day with a chick, I would say ‘yes, she was wearing a short red mini skirt, high heels, her hair was dread locked, any problem?’ I don’t like people being involved in my relationship but please, don’t make me look stupid so tell me first so I go know how to arrange myself when those wicked people that want to spoil the matter come around.

Generosity is very important. Honesty is also important and also he must be God fearing in which ever religion he is. I am a very liberal person. I can date a Moslem, a Buddhist probably but they have to understand my love for God. There is love in a lot of religions but as Christians we preach love but we don’t act it so yeah, he must have the fear of God, preferably a Christian.

Yul edochie coming out for governor of anambra state

Yul Edochie is probably speaking for the last time before he Anambra governorship takes place. According to the actor, if you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem, hence is interest in politics. He is ready o take his people out of boundage to paradise. He however noted that, despite ruling a state, if he is chanced he would still be willing to act in a movie. How words;

“Politicians have failed us‎ so, I’m in the race to touch the lives of Anambra people positively. Always remember that if you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem. The problems of Anambra people have reached the last bus stop. I joined the race to harness the creative potentials of the youths and the resource-endowment of Anambra and move the state to the next level of development.”

He continued saying,    “It will not stop my acting career at all. I intend to combine both roles effectively. However, I’m willing to jettison actingin order to face governance for four years should it be required of me. An actor also has a right to contest for public office like every other citizen of Nigeria. So, I think the fact that I’m an actor is a major plus, not a setback.”

Ex-Employee Suing Facebook, Claims They Mocked Him Being Old

Facebook created a workplace where employees openly mocked a guy for being as ancient as - wait for it - 50 years old ... at least according to the ex-worker who's suing him to court.

Gary Glouner says he worked under the Facebook umbrella for 2 years, and during that time was the butt of many ageist jokes. According to the docs,  the age cracks included:

- "Old people shouldn't be working at Facebook; they just don't relate"
- "Old people are just creepy"
- "Old people don't belong at Facebook"

Glouner says Mark Zuckerberg himself made public comments in 2007 where he said, "Young people are just smarter." He adds ... the ageism was institutional because during an HR presentation they displayed a chart highlighting the low energy of employees in their 50s.

Worst of all, he says his co-workers in their 20s and 30s always got cake and group celebrations, while he got bupkis. Glouner also claims his boss told him they didn't want to embarrass him by highlighting his advanced age.
