I used to be the one to tell a guy I like him and then we would start kissing" rapper, Eva Alordiah, says

"Before now, I used to be the one to tell a guy I like him and then we would start kissing" rapper, Eva Alordiah, says
Rapper, Eva Alordiah had an interactive session with her fans on IG last night and one of them apparently told her she was interested in a guy but doesn't know how to go about it.
"If you die tomorrow and you do not get to experience that beautiful(love). If you really like him so much, the only reason that you should hold back is if you are not sure that he likes you that much. I think it is sweeter when he shows you first how much he likes you. I had to teach myself how not to be too forward. I used to be too forward. If I like a guy, I would be like hey, I like you. The next thing, we are kissing. I used to be very forward but I have had to calm down and understand that sometimes, regardless of how you are feeling, you want to hold back" she sa

Her second coming and her new single Shakara...Ijekimora

? Ijekimora talks about her second coming and her new single Stepping out of the pool in the bright Dallas summer heat , she flicked her wet hair over her shoulders , strutted to a chair to grab a towel as she prepared to bare her mind on her music journey.  No longer the rookie of a few years back , she exuded the aura of a woman comfortable in her own skin , finding her voice , tracing her path in the music industry . Welcome to the world of Ijeoma Ononobi 'Ijekimora' , the Texas based Nigerian singing sensation who just announced her come back on the music scene with the banging single 'Shakara' produced by Paul Demsa.

Some find music and music finds others, in Ijekimora’s case it’s probably both as the soft-spoken singer has always loved music from as far back as she can remember. Singing in the shower by herself, in her room and all around the house sowed the seeds of Ijekimora’s present musical career pursuit. A chance meeting with Dallas based producer Demsa facilitated by her friend J Krunk finally convinced her she could sing as the producer encouraged her to make the most of her talents. That was the confidence boost for her to take music serious and she has never looked back since then.

After the release of her previous singles Osho Free ft. Kelly Handsome who also produced it and Lovey Luv produced by Young D, the beautiful singer looked set to take her career to the next level especially after visiting Nigeria to promote the single which got some buzz. Then came a rude awakening as it was a culture shock for her when she faced some unpleasant situations. According to Ije, it was like everyone wanted her body before even listening to what she offers. One of the biggest labels in Nigeria’s head honcho sold her a song and she realized the same song had been sold to three other artists. These were some of the experiences that slowed her down as she returned to the US to reassess her options and redevelop herself for another crack at the cookie with a stronger team and a proper artist structure.

Her latest single ‘Shakara’ according to Ije as she is fondly called simply means someone, could be male or female posing, showing off, or playing hard to get also known as fronting. Ijekimora is Shakara. All the women all over the world are shakara. Ijekimora believes that we must remember, as a woman, that we hold the key; the key to a man's success through Christ. Like they say, "behind every successful man, there's a good woman". #Shakara. The single was also inspired by the Late Afrobeat Legend Fela Anikulapo Kuti who has probably influenced more artists than can be counted all over the world.

Ijekimora opines that African music has evolved with a lot of creativity and diversity, crossing boundaries with the likes of Wizkid & Davido leading the way and building on the efforts of people like D’banj, 2face and P-square. For her it’s amazing to see how far African music has grown in a short span and the current influence on world music. Ijekimora however feel, more women should be encouraged to reach the highest heights, ‘my message is simply equal opportunities for all ‘she said, as she hopes to be an inspiration to other young girls wishing to pursue a career in music.

jekimora’s musical influences includes Omawumi, Brandy, Michael Jackson, Toni Braxton, Whitney Houston and of course The Late Femi Anikulapo Kuti who inspired her current single “Shakara”. Like they say, " it takes a village to raise a child”. Ijekimora would like to work with artists like Flavour, Yemi Alade, Waje, Wizkid, Davido and every great artist in the industry that is willing to grow and represent the African Music the right way.

'Shakara' marks a new beginning, the prophetic second coming in the Ijekimora story and she plans to relocate back to Nigeria to grow her music career and build her image and brand. Like they say, " it takes a village to raise a child”. Ijekimora would like to work with artists like Flavour, Yemi Alade, Waje, Wizkid, Davido and every great artist in the industry that is willing to grow and represent the African Music the right way.

Things to put into consideration before bringing babies into this world

marriageRaising kids and maintaining a happy relationship could be too much to juggle.

The next question that will most likely pop into your mind after your wedding ceremony is ‘when are we having a baby?

In this part of the world, couples marriage usually like to begin immediately and it is even ‘expected’ in some places for the bride’s belly to show signs of pregnancy as early as possible.
Whether you choose to start making babies immediately or wait a little while, here are three things you and your partner should know…

1. It could be the end of your ‘relationship’

Many couples find themselves growing distant once they begin to have kids. Though this is not supposed to be so, but somehow, it has brought too may couples to the end of true intimacy and companionship in there marriage.

You have to make conscious effort to make time for each other after the birth of your child (Pinterest)
Raising children is actually a lot of hardwork and it is not uncommon for parents marriage, especially wives, to be sapped of energy on a daily basis.
Maintaining closeness, intimacy and romance in a situation as this might be difficult but it is a must.
Babies are not meant to make partners grow distant

2. Raising kids should be a joint affair

Also, you and your partner need to have a concrete, agreed plan on how to raise the kids even before they are born.
What methods of correction would you use? Spanking, or just word of mouth? This and other related stuff should also be discussed whether before the kids are born, or when the child is still pretty young.

marriage

3. Children won’t make your marriage problems go away

Having kids is not a necessary cure to relationship problems. Communication and a willingness to make things work is what you and your partner need to settle your differences, not babies.

Having babies won’t make relationship issues disappear magically (Dreamstime)
True, the birth of a baby could cause a strong emotional connection between partners and bring them closer despite existing differences but that bond is a temporary one and will likely wear off in no time.
Those existing issues will surely rear their heads again because they were not properly dealt with.

If You Eat 2 Banana Per Day For A Month Non Stop, This Is What Happens To Your Body!

Banana
You might not have heard that banana is the number 1 consumed food in the United States, even more commonly consumed than oranges and apples combined.
Yet, every now and then, there is some new exotic fruit that is popularized as the newest health revolution, so we often underrate banana.
However, you should remember that these fruits are extremely beneficial and offer various health benefits. Despite their delicious taste, bananas are rich in numerous nutrients, natural sugars, vitamins, and fibers.
At the beginning, bananas are greenish in color and have no spots, but as they get riper, brown spots appear and cover the whole fruit.
Yet, these spots do not mean that the bananas are rotten, but they actually indicate that these bananas are at the peak of their development, as they are the richest in TNF then.
TNF is a potent cancer-fighting substance which fights abnormal body cells. It helps the communication between the cells of the immune response system and guides the movement of cells towards the infected or inflamed areas in the body.
Studies have shown that the TNF in bananas prevents the growth and spread of tumor cells, by inducing apoptosis (cell death).
Bananas are rich in antioxidants which boost the immune system and the white blood cells count. Therefore, if your bananas have brown spots, do not throw them away, as they are extremely healthy.
Despite preventing cancer, bananas offer numerous other health benefits, as follows:
Treating Constipation
Since bananas are rich in fiber, their consumption will stimulate regular bowel movements and relieve constipation.
Regulating Blood Pressure

Bananas reduce high blood pressure, and reduce the sodium levels, and thus prevent strokes and heart attacks. Due to the high potassium content, banana promote heart health.
Fighting Ulcers
You can freely eat bananas in the case of stomach ulcers, as their soft texture will coat the stomach lining, and prevent irritations and corrosive acids.
Heartburn
They are the natural anti-acid gift, which will relieve heartburn and acid reflux. The symptoms and discomfort will disappear as soon as you eat the banana.
Body Temperature Control
Bananas regulate the body temperature and can be helpful in the case of fever and in the hot summer days.
Fighting Anemia
These beneficial fruits provide the needed amounts of dietary iron, and stimulate the production of red blood cells and hemoglobin, thus boosting the blood supply.
Alleviate PMS symptoms/Nerves
The consumption of banana regulates the blood sugar levels due to the abundance of vitamin B, and thus soothes the nervous system, calming the mind and relaxing the body. In this way, these fruits improve your mood and help you reduce stress.
Fighting Depression
These healthy fruits have a beneficial component called tryptophan, which effectively treats depression. As soon as it enters the body, it is turned into serotonin, which is a popular brain neurotransmitter. This will enhance mood and provide relaxation and happiness.
Body energy
The consumption of one of two banana before your workout will provide the needed energy for an hour. The high potassium levels will prevent muscle cramps, and the vitamins, minerals, and low-glycemic carbs will help you boost your stamina.

How to woo a lady in public

ladySome men are naturally shy while some don’t even know how to start. The thing is, wooing a Lady in public is simple and a lot easier than when she’s alone. Here, we have put this down to help you be a man, Lol. Read carefully to the end.
1.Make Eye Contact:
If you see someone you’d like to meet, try to make eye contact before talking to her.
Once you catch her eye, try to maintain eye contact. If you repeatedly make eye contact with someone, it could be a sign that she wants you to approach her.
Three glances from a girl might signal that she’s interested. Why are eyes so powerful? Science seems to suggest that eye contact activates our brain’s reward center, the ventral striatum.
What does this mean? Our DNA is telling us that someone staring at you is cause for celebration! Smile. A friendly smile is a great way to show someone that you’re interested in them.
If she returns the smile, that’s a good sign that she might be interested. Once you’ve exchanged a few glances and a smile, check her body language.
This will give you a better idea if she’s actually interested.
lady
2. Check Body Language:
While reading another person’s body language, male or female, is NOT an exact science, there are definitely a few behaviors to look for that will signal that the person is not interested in engaging in conversation. Respect the girl’s right to be left alone.
Is she facing away from you? Are her arms crossed? Is she listening to music, or reading a book?
Is she frowning? Is she specifically looking away from you? While not perfect indicators, expressions and body language like this probably means leave her alone. Body language is not everything.
Women are taught from childhood that they must be pleasant no matter what. If you are going to approach her, pay attention to how she reacts and what she says.
3. Make Plans To Meet Again:
If she seems interested and you are still interested, try and make plans for a future meet-up. Give her your phone number or email address.
This way she feels in control of the situation. You’ll know for certain that she’s interested if she follows up. Ask for her phone number or email address.
If she says no, leave it. She doesn’t owe you anything further, even if she did enjoy your company.Ask her on an instant date. Ask her if she wants to grab coffee somewhere.
Always choose a public place for an instant date; you want her to feel comfortable.
Have a coffee shop in mind if you do ask, or ask her if she knows a good place.
That way she will feel in control of the situation.
4. Be Respectful:
This is the absolute most important part of approaching a girl in public, or in any situation.
If she is not interested back off.
Remember, different girls have different tastes in guys, or no taste in guys.
One girl might just feel that you’re not her type. However, there might be another girl out there who will think you’re awesome. Now that you’ve finished reading this, feel free to share on your social networks.
Your friends will thank you for sharing this piece of info with them. Goodluck guys!

4 lies told by men to get you into there bed

lies

When a man’s organ is hungry, there is just about no lie he can’t tell.

In fact, a man who really wants to have s*x with the object of his affection can lie that he is God if he thinks that will get him laid.
Ladies have received earfuls of lies that will make you shrink mouth ajar. Here are 3 of them:

1. “I’m already erect. I’ll suffer pains.” :
A desperate guy can use his erection as an excuse to get laid. Truly an erection left unrelieved can hurt, but not so hard that he NEEDS to have s*x – unless of course he has used performance enhancers already

2. “I love you.” :
This is the big one that seems to work many times. Knowing that s*x for women is as emotional as it is physical, men lie that they are in love, thereby appealing to the woman’s soft side

3. “I’m a vir gin:
” Yeah, men are vir gins too! More than a few guys have played that card. They will say they want the lady in question to help them get over the vir ginity. It just might be true though.

4. “You’re the only one I’m seeing.”
This is another one that works many time. The guy tried to make the women believe that there is no one else, hence the need to be fully committed and let him have a bite of the honeycomb.

lolsss….I hope i don’t get smarked by some guys up here who may think have just exposed their secretes to all the ladies…. its Friday lets have some fun…*winks*

A former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has denied supporting the agitation of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

The former Vice-President, who described the report as classical fake news, asked Nigerians to ignore the report.

Loathe or love Kanu, he has fought better – Atiku” purportedly written and signed by His Excellency Atiku Abubakar, Vice President of Nigeria, 1999-2007 and chieftain of All Progressives Congress in circulation.
“What started as the handiwork of mischief makers and their sponsors bent on tarnishing the reputation of the Waziri Adamawa was first noticed on chat rooms.
“But having found its way on the website of a reputable newspaper which obviously fell victim to the evil work of the scammers, the media office of the former Vice President is compelled to respond and to state as follows:

Apple tends to see dramatic surge in US national security requests

By Roger Fingas Between January and the end of June Apple received somewhere between 13,250 and 13,499 national security requests from the U.S. government, including orders under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance (FISA) Court and national security letters, Apple revealed this week in its latest transparency report.

The figure is much larger than the first half of 2016, when Apple saw between 2,750 and 2,999 orders. This week's report (PDF) noted that as usual, Apple is only allowed to disclose requests in batches of 250.

The number of affected accounts also went up, from between 2,000 and 2,249 to around 9,000 to 9,249. Not a single national security letter has been declassified this year, but such documents —which don't require a judge's approval, and focus on metadata —are often paired with gag orders.

A single letter was declassified in the second half of 2016, and was also the first the company officially acknowledged.

Apple recently revamped its Privacy minisite to tout its credentials. The company is known to be compliant in turning over data when it receives what it considers a legitimate legal request, however, and indeed Apple said that for the first half of 2017, it provided device data about 80 percent of the time in the U.S., and 77 percent overall.

Device requests actually declined somewhat year-over-year, to 30,814 globally and 4,479 in the U.S. These affected 232,052 and 8,958 devices, respectively.

Masked men Hijacked passenger boat in Bayelsa

Barely 48 hours after launching an ambush that killed three passengers on Tuesday, gunmen suspected to be sea pirates on Thursday hijacked a passenger boat along Nembe-Brass waterways.

Militants had on August 28 ambushed a military houseboat and killed a soldier and civilian crew. Again, last Friday, the bandits attacked an oil services vessel killing three security men on board.

It was gathered in the latest onslaught by the elusive pirates, that they trailed the boat after it had dropped off its occupants in Brass from Nembe before hijacking the boat.
Community sources who witnessed the incident said the suspected pirates armed with sophisticated weapons shot sporadically into the air before seizing the boat.   The driver of the boat and his crewmen were later allowed to disembark at the creeks while the bandits moved on.The Chairman of the Bayelsa state Chapter of the Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria Lloyd Sese who confirmed the incident said that pirates’ activities on the waterways had made life unbearable.A youth leader from area, Robert Desmond, condemned the incessant sea pirate attacks on the waterways.
Mr. Desmond described the acts as not only senseless but  inhumane and wondered why a group of Bayelsa youth should be ”terrorizing their own people.”

He tasked security personnel to be on the alert particularly the Brass-Nembe people who are in dire need of marine security.

He called on law enforcement agents to apprehend the pirates, destroy every network and arsenal they may have in their possession, in order to bring respite to the Nembe-Brass people.

Asinim Butswat, a deputy superintendent of police, and spokesman of Bayelsa Police Command, who confirmed the incident said that the command has intensified efforts to check criminality and restore security in the area.
