Uber driver allegedly breaks into TREM church to steal properties worth N12m

Temple, 33, was arraigned by the police on a four-count charge of conspiracy, breaking, entering and stealing.Richmond Temple, found in possession of N12million church equipment belonging to The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM), has appeared before an Igbosere Magistrates’ Court, Lagos.

Prosecuting Sergeant Friday Mameh alleged that the defendant and accomplices, who are on the run, committed the offences at about 3am on August 9, 2019 at TREM (Restoration Parish) Chevron Drive in Eti-Osa Local Government Area, Lagos.

Viral News Man nabbed while attempting to leave with hotel’s TV in his bag in Benue (photos)

A yet-to-be identified man got more than he bargained for after getting caught with a Plasma TV he stole from a hotel in Makurdi, Benue state capital.
The suspect was nabbed with the Plasma TV placed in a trolley bag after the hotel’s security insisted on running a check. Facebook user, Vera Iyo notified other hotels of the new antics employed by robbers as she shared photos from the scene of the incident.
She wrote;

“This guy came to kyabiz hotel mkd, Gboko road to steal this plasma TV but unfortunately we cought him.this should be a warning to other hotels, this ppl are not joking oooo. While he was caught he had keys to order hotel rooms, should incase you have a missing Tv in your hotel check E division.”

Just recently, the report of an Instagram model, Ade Williams being pregnant for Kizz Daniel, made the rounds on social media.
According to the report, the model used to be Davido’s side piece and when his relationship with Chioma became public, she moved on with Kizz Daniel and is now with his child

In a post shared on her Instastory, the model has denied the claim as she called it a misinformation.

She posted:
“It has come to my attention that some news has been going on about my involvement with Kiss Daniel and Davido and same is false. And I will respond to the source of the misinformation in due course.”

21-year-old boy is being forced to marry because he has the SS genotype

A Twitter user has alleged that a 21-year-old boy is being forced to marry because he has the SS genotype, and this has angered Twitter users.
The family of the boy allegedly fear that he may not live long due to his ailment so they have found a girl with the AA genotype and are trying to get him to marry her so he can have a child to succeed him.
A number of Twitter users condemned this action while some have said it’s common in Nigeria and parents do this for young men who are only sons or have the SS genotype.
The do really think the might loose him to the cold hand of death due to recent happenings to the same people having such illment.

Happy policeman in Rivers State shot News Prospective Corps member dead by pushing the trigger-

A UNIPORT graduate and prospective Corps member identified as Chijim, was allegedly shot dead by a trigger-happy policeman in Port Harcourt,  Rivers State on Monday night.
A family member, Ojims Michael, who confirmed the incident, said Chijim was preparing for his one year mandatory national youth Service next month.
He wrote “My inlaw, a young man that grew up with my family and is so clean and stainless to the point the children in the house call him “hypo”, a uniport graduate, not a cultist, never looks for anyone’s trouble a boy that’s supposed to go for youth service this September was gunned down last night by a trigger happy policemen for no reasons, now they are claiming accidental discharge.If We humans can’t fight back,the GOD will fight this battle for his family.”

BBNaija 2019: Housemates Campaign For Votes For Others Up For Eviction

Last night during the diary sessions, Big Brother asked the housemates to campaign for votes from viewers on behalf of the housemates put up for eviction. The campaign was supposed to be an act of kindness.
Each housemate was to pick one of the housemates up for eviction and campaign on behalf of that housemate. Housemates who are up for eviction could not campaign for themselves but they had to pick another housemate up for eviction and ask viewers to please vote for them.
In a not so surprising move, each housemate either picked their friends or their house lovers and campaigned for them. However, out of all the housemates up for possible eviction, only Jackye and Mike had no housemate to campaign for them. Both of them campaigned for Mercy because they had to but nobody campaigned for them.

Mercy and Diane had the highest number of housemates campaign for them. The sweetest thing that happened was that they campaigned for each other. Ike also campaigned for his love saying a big “Thank you biggie” when he was asked to campaign for one housemate. He then went on to tell viewers to please vote for Mercy because he needs her in the house.

Presidential tribunal reserves judgement after final written addresses

The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT) on Wednesday reserved judgment in the petition filed by the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and his party challenging the declaration of President Muhammadu Buhari as the winner of the February 23, 2019, presidential election.
The five-member panel of justices of the Tribunal, headed by Justice Mohammed Garba reserved the date for judgment after all the parties in the petition adopted their final written addresses.

Waseem Baloch strangled his sister Qandeel, 26, to death at their home in 2016, claiming her risque photos and videos had 'brought dishonour to the Baloch name.'
Her other brother Aslam Shaheen is also before the court at Multan, in the Punjab, although his role is not clear.
An affidavit submitted today by the Baloch parents asked that the court throw out the case and that they had forgiven their sons. 

‘Game of Thrones’ creators reveal they plan to be ‘drunk and far from the internet’ when series finale airs.

In a chat with Entertainment Weekly, Benioff and Weiss said they will be
avoiding the inevitable backlash when the final episode airs and they plan to stay far away from the internet and will be drowning themselves in bottles of alcohol.
Weiss in the interview said,
“We’ll be in an undisclosed location, turning off our phones and opening various bottles. At some point, if and when it’s safe to come out again, somebody like [HBO’s ‘Thrones’ publicist Mara Mikialian] will give us a breakdown of what was out there without us having to actually experience it.”
Benioff added,
“I plan to be very drunk and very far from the internet.”
Speaking further about the ending of “Game of Thrones”, Weiss said,
“We want people to love it. It matters a lot to us. We’ve spent 11 years doing this. We also know no matter what we do, even if it’s the optimal version, that a certain number of people will hate the best of all possible versions. There is no version where everybody says, ‘I have to admit, I agree with every other person on the planet that this is the perfect way to do this’ — that’s an impossible reality that doesn’t exist. You hope you’re doing the best job you can, the version that works better than any other version, but you know somebody is not going to like it.”
Buttressing his point, Benioff added,
“A good story isn’t a good story if you have a bad ending,” added Benioff. “Of course we worry. It’s also part of the fun of any show that people love arguing about it.”

to remove her womb to live a normal life.
The actress who stars in ‘Heaven’s Hell’ which was premiered in the cinemas on Friday, recently shared her story at an event tagged ‘Conversation with Nse.’
Nse also revealed that she was never going to be able to have a baby as she was diagnosed three years ago with Adenomyosis, a condition whereby the inner lining of the uterus breaks through the muscle wall of the uterus.
“I was told I couldn’t have kids,” she said to the now sombre audience.
“And so, I had to have a hysterectomy (removal of the uterus) to make me have a life again and to stop going through what I was going through. And I’m literarily telling women and men, it really doesn’t matter if you can’t bear children. What really matters is what you would do for the world, for the universe. Tears dropped and then my husband squeezed my hand. It was reassuring there was someone there and it was telling me that this is reality, my reality.”

Man arrested in Delta due to death of prostitute

A man has been arrested in Delta state after a prostitute died during an overnight marathon sex in an hotel in Amukpe, Sapele. According to reports, man and the prostitute had checked in after enjoying some drinks together, however, when they were about to checkout, this morning, the lady was discovered to have died and the man was promptly handed over to the police.
The case is currently being investigated by the Police to find out th actual cause of death and ensure justice isserved.
