Yellow fever in Bauchi

About 23 persons have been reported dead following a recent outbreak of yellow fever in Bauchi, the National Centre for Disease Control, an agency of the Federal Ministry of Health, said on Tuesday.

The organisation said 169 suspected cases had been reported in 41 local government areas in five states of Bauchi (35 cases), Borno (65), Gombe (7), Kano (4) and Katsina (58).

The NCDC stated this in its August 31 to September 11 situation report on the cluster of yellow fever outbreak in Bauchi, released to journalists in Abuja.
This is a very bad news in that peoples life are more in danger.
