1.
You have to deactivate your account for some
time: It will really be great to pause your Facebook
sometime so that other things you need to work on will fall in place. If you
are somebody that do not have a business online it is really necessary you
pause your account for some time and that will be an avenue for you to think
and work towards building your career.
Never let an addiction to stop you from doing
things that do spice up your day and make your life more fulfilling’s many
deactivate there accounts for days, months and years a times and many did not
even reactivate the account due to being involved with a lot that make them
more happy than just being online and while away time doing nothing really
fruitful other than chatting. Do aim to deactivate the account for a long
period of time.
2.
Work on minimizing your number of friends: So many on Facebook have thousands of friend
that they have not said “HI” to for a long time even for years. I am on the
opinion for you to unfriend a lot of friend that you are not in contact with so
as to concise your number of activities on Facebook. This will really help
reduce your commitment to Facebook which will make you focus on other things worthwhile.
3.
Minimize the number of pages you follow on Facebook: It is high time face bookers focus on pages
that have great impact on their daily activities. Venturing into liking a lot
of pages will not really help you have a great focus in life. When you minimize
the pages you follow you will get more focus for instance if you are a medically
inclined practitioner just focus on pages that talk about health and make the
use of it properly.
4.
Remove Old Third-Party Apps:
While you're on cleanup duty, you might as
well delete unwanted third-party apps you've installed over the years—if not
for distraction than certainly to help protect your privacy.
Facebook now allows you to delete apps in
bulk, which you can do by navigating to Settings > Apps and
Websites and then selecting all the apps you want to delete by clicking on
them so that they're checked off. Click Remove when you're done
5. Make it difficult for you to access Facebook
at all time:
Activating
two factor authentication and then signing out of your account
Deleting
the Facebook app on your phone and/or tablet
Taking
the URL out of your bookmarks
Replacing
Facebook as your homepage
Not
leaving Facebook sitting open at all times in your web browser
6.
Reduce your activities on Facebook: You have to work on the number of
time you log in to Facebook. Control the way you log in is advisable you log in
once a day or twice do not be on Facebook every seconds it is really bad it
will take away a lot of your time and intended activities. Whenever you are
online let it be for something purposeful not just to while away time.
This takes some serious self-control and doesn't work for everybody. But if
you're disciplined enough to make a habit out of it, you may come to feel quite
satisfied in simply spending 10 or 20 minutes a day interacting on Facebook
just once or twice rather than compulsively checking it round the clock.
7.
Avoid
being a Facebook automaton: If you're caught saying, "I'll
Facebook you later" or "I'm going to do some face booking", then
you're well overdue for taking a break from the site hang out with friends in
the real world (or offline life). Every time you feel like saying "I'll
Facebook you", check yourself and rephrase that with "I'll see
you", or "I'll call you". And mean it - settle the catch-up time
straight away...
8.
Decide that you don't need to see all
the news feed that appeared since you were last on:
No matter how much news feed you get, there could have been even more that
there wasn't. There's no difference between missing a post and that post never
having existed which you would have had no problem with. The point is to see at
least one super-interesting post, not to see all of them. Sometimes somebody
thinks of a topic and wishes there existed a YouTube video on that topic but
that's a lot rarer than an endless chain of deciding that since you saw a
suggestion, it looks interesting, so you decide you must see it.
9.
Make it less appealing:
When using Facebook, you can choose what
appears on your timeline, by liking pages, joining groups and hiding annoying
people you create a custom made "safe-web-space" filled with
information that appeals to you with no negatives. Unblock those who constantly
post selfies and share Britain First posts and simply visit the websites of
pages you enjoy (or find alternatives) rather than viewing them through
Facebook. Nothing short of a library will cure your information addiction. In conclusion Facebook addiction have
really been trending on technology and phycology articles due to how a lot of
people have really loosed a lot due to being focused on Facebook leaving there
businesses.
