1. Action
The only reason why the 10 most successful bloggers in Nigeria are today being referred to as “bloggers” is that they started blogging in the first place. They took action quickly at a time when blogging wasn’t popular and they have now achieved enviable successes. They didn’t balk. They didn’t wait for the “perfect time.” They believed with blogging they could make it really.
2. Passion
This is another quality that all these 10 bloggers have in common. They all figured out topics they are passionate about and started blogging on those topics. This passion kept them going even though nobody gave them attention back then. And this passion helped them churn out content consistently on their chosen topics. Linda Ikeji opted for entertainment, Uche Pedro went for lifestyle, Japheth Omojuwa went the way of politics, and Jide Ogunsanya chose to go for science and technology.Your passion really go a long way to make you stand out in the society.
3. Persistence
Most of this bloggers started up when blogging was not popular to any but there persistent really paid off in that they never give up.I urge you to remain persistent in whatsoever you wanna do.
4. Optimism
Anyone who visited the cybercafé frequently or spent huge costs on internet plans just to update a blog used to be seen as a time waster who has no idea what to do with his or her money. Nobody saw any prospects in blogging in the past, but these successful bloggers did. They had a positive mindset, and this kept them going—even when they were attracting zero traffic and only losing money rather than make it. Today, their optimism has paid off, and we all know their story.
5. Consistency
If you check the archives of the ten most successful bloggers in Nigeria, you’d observe something about them: they have been consistent. They have been publishing posts frequently and at predictable intervals right from their earliest days in blogging. Now, they blog every day. And their audience expects something new from them every day.
6. Business sense
While many Nigerians saw blogging as a hobby or as a mere platform for adding personal rants to the internet, these successful bloggers saw it as serious business—and they approached it as such. Now, they run their blogs just like a typical business. They have registered business names and incorporated companies for their blogs, they have staff writers, photographers and designers, and they have a professional logo. And some of them have a monthly budget for marketing and other operation costs.
7. Uniqueness
If you check the blogs owned by these bloggers, you’d see a unique touch in each, especially in the way they craft their content. Linda Ikeji’s posts are usually brief and witty, and Omojuwa’s posts are usually thought-provoking. Each of them has something unique about their blog posts. And this uniqueness is what sets them apart from the rest. This uniqueness stands there blog out.

9. Trendiness
The top ten most successful Nigerian bloggers all keep abreast of latest trends in technology. Most started with blogger, but when WordPress became more popular, they switched over to it (with the exception of Linda Ikeji and Ogbongeblog). And now that people are doing more with mobile apps, some of these bloggers have developed unique mobile apps for their blogs through which their followers can easily read their latest posts.
10. Dedication

Secret of Every successful Movie in Nigeria

The success of a movie or film depends solely on the pictures which makes it attracting. Not just the picture quality but the way each shot is framed, lit and moved to communicate specific emotions. Not only the quality of the pictures but the directors play major roles in making sure there is uniqueness in the pictures and the movie.
While directors are usually most popular primarily because they are involved in the promotion of the film; most directors of photography are usually not known outside the film industry. The producer are the back bone of any industry that why they are not usually too popular.

Some say it's because, just like chefs, most directors and producers keep their success secrets close to their chests but this is also probably due to the fact that most of the best DOPs in the world are rather quiet and largely known to be intense beings.
A director can operate on creativity alone if he has a good crew but to be a cinematographer you have to have loads of creativity and a sound knowledge of the science of film making; from the electrical complexities of lighting to the technological intricacies of cameras to the grip equipment and exceptional people management skills.
We now have the best cinematographers in Nigeria unlike before we depended on the ones abroad.
One of them is a young man called Adekunle Adejuyigbe better known as Nodash.
Nodash has grown to become a silent force within the Nigerian film industry. Armed with a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Nodash is blessed with a knowledge of production design, years of experience as an editor/director and an unusual story telling ability. His works have been so exceptional that he was selected by the Berlin film festival in 2015 as one of the 21 cinematographers in the world to look out for.
Before his entrance in the film industry, he spent a number of years shooting TV commercials because they had bigger budgets and their production standards were generally up to par with the rest of the world.
More recently he has been working with a handful of filmmakers who are looking to make a mark. Industry insiders have said he is on speed dial of most of the serious filmmakers in the country. And it's not just for his good looks but for his ability to make a film’s visual connect to the emotional aspects of the film by making each image tell a story.
His experience spans as writer, director and editor on TV shows, documentaries, music videos among other things. Most of the projects he has worked on have won awards or the very least serious critical acclaims.
Hollywood gaffer, Christian Epps (who worked on SELMA) once said that Nodash is the most interesting DOP working in Nigeria at the moment.
Some of his film credits include Shuga season 3, Fifty, Gidi Up 3, Isoken, The Encounter, and Silence.  He has also provided technical direction on a project with the America Consulate and the Niger Delta Creek project where he provided Technical Direction as well as basic film making training for militants

I year after her death, Nick Gordon, Bobbi Kristina's boyfriend found 'guilty'

Nick Gordon has been found responsible for the death of his girlfriend Bobbi Kristina Brown – the daughter of singer Whitney Houston.

In a $50m wrongful death civil suit filed in August by Bobbi Kristina’s estate, Nick, who failed to appear at a court hearing on Friday, was ruled to be guilty of playing a part in the incident that led to the death of the late Whitney Houston‘s daughter.

The presiding judge, T. Jackson Bedford, expressed his dissatisfaction at Nick’s absence during the proceedings by saying that he does ‘not like people thumbing their nose at the court.’

‘He is legally responsible for her death, and the only thing left for us now to prove is the value of her life,’ a lawyer for Brown’s estate, R. David Ware told NBC affiliate 11Alive in Atlanta. ‘And we intend to do that.’

Ware however said no criminal charges have been filed against Gordon. ‘It’s not a criminal case but it doesn’t have to be,’ he said. ‘We want to legally establish he was responsible for her injuries the proceeded her death and we’ve done that today.’

A jury will now hear the case and decide on the damages owed by Gordon to the estate.

Whitney and Bobby Brown‘s daughter died under controversial circumstances after she was found face-down and unconscious in a bathtub in January 2015. She was in a coma for six months before finally being taken off life support.

She died on July 26, 2015 aged 22.

A lady turns down marriage proposal

Karishma Walia, from New Delhi, was forced to  turn down an arranged marriage proposal because her potential suitor wasn't a fan of her dog.

In a Whatsapp conversation posted on Twitter, the man asked her if she has reached a decision on his proposal, to which she replies: 'Hey, I thought we spoke about this. Dog is going to be an issue... So!'

Karishma, who posts plenty of snaps with her pet pooch, Lucy, on her social media accounts, spoke about the incident.

She said: 'My mom thought he’s an excellent match because he’s good-looking and well-off. There was a lot of family pressure, and they still think I did the wrong thing by raising the concern about my dog.'

She added that the man is still attempting to tempt her to reconsider her decision, adding: 'He would say things like "family should be a priority and not career". I gave up when he commented about my dog. I don’t know why my family still thinks he’s an eligible bachelor.'

Karishma has been praised by animal lovers on Twitter. One user posted her story with the caption: 'This B'lore girl rejected a guy cuz he doesn't like dogs & wouldn't want one after marriage. U go girl!', and another added: 'This is the kind of stuff I want to read. Good on you, Karishma Walia, wherever you are in Twitterverse.'
