The movie has been described as a journey into the anatomy of modern family relationships. It focuses on a couple Sharon (Rita Dominic) and Kobi (Chidi Mokeme), who in a bid to save their union, expose some of the truths surrounding struggles and independence in marriage. They attempt to tell the truth about some of the conflicts, confinement, independence, and struggles in marriages. The pursuit to keep their marriage intact and save their private lives leads to various dramatic and intense scenes that follow the story. The movie stars Chidi Mokeme, Rita Dominic, Tana Adelana, Akin Lewis, Yaw, Munachi Abii and many others.

When asked about his expectations of the movie, the producer, Chinwe Egwagu
“When we did Mr and Mrs in 2011, we did not know it would command so much goodwill…This is the same thing we have done for the Chapter two. Mr and Mrs Chapter 2 is a totally different package from the first one, the story line is different yet not losing line with the realities faced in marriages and we are confident that Mr and Mrs Chapter Two will surpass the success of the first one.”
He further stated that
“A lot of things happen in marriages which most times lead to separation or divorce, especially in this present age and ‘Mr and Mrs Chapter 2’ tend to cover most of the factors that couples face in marriages. The audience are going to love this one, because it is something everyone can relate to”.
“Mr and Mrs Chapter 2” promises to be exciting as it has a factual story line, talented casts and a little bit of comedy to cool off the intense drama. The movie is a must watch for all. It will be worth the time and money of movie lovers.

Scrap jamb ASUU tell Nigerian Government

ASUU Frowns At FG’s scrapping of Post-UTME
Sequel to the alleged tedious in the on-going registration of candidates, the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), University of Ibadan (UI) chapter has called on the Federal Government to scrap the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
Speaking on Wednesday in Ibadan, its Chairman, Dr. Deji Omole, called on the Registrar of JAMB, Professor Ishaq Oloyede to voluntarily resign from office.
He said the board has outlived its usefulness and also reduced the standard of offering admission to students, hence, it must be scrapped immediately to allow universities set a new standard of admission.
He noted that the fact that a mock examination was stopped due to logistic reasons underscored the point of alleged incompetence of the Registrar, noting that if candidates could not do mock how sure are they to pass the examination.

He said: “Since Prof Oloyede did not consider it appropriate to resign after failing the whole nation, I think the Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu, should not hesitate to sack him.
“Why will anybody make life difficult for candidates whose parents are struggling to live under the terrible condition the government has made them to live in?”
“Why would somebody introduce changes that are only known by members of the board? We have made case for the scrapping of this body because in the present instance the introduction of different registration procedures has turned candidates to victims of fraud.”
“While different centres now make business by arranging with private schools who bring all their students in group to come and register while children of the masses look on.”
“This is a failed approach to change and the Registrar admitted this with the cancellation of the mock examination. How can we ensure that the candidates prepare well for the exams when they spend weeks waiting for Personal Identification Number and are at the mercy of registration officers who force them to go to cybercafe where they have arrangements to first create their profile before they can have their PIN.”
“This is where people are duping Nigerian children. This is a total failure. Students must have at least three months for registration, its procedure must be open and their options to public universities must not be limited to serve the agenda of the proprietors of private universities”.
Meanwhile, no fewer than 25 academic programmes run by Bayero University, Kano got full accreditation of the National Universities Commission (NUC).
The NUC approval follows the national accreditation exercise conducted by the commission between November and December 2016 exercise.

Real Madrid have rejected a €50m offer from Liverpool for Marco Asensio, according to sources in Spain.
Asensio has emerged as one of Europe’s most promising young playmakers this season and he has attracted the interest of several sides across the Continent.

According to a report on Cadena COPE, which was confirmed by AS, Liverpool are keen on the Spaniard and offered €50m to sign him. However, Real Madrid have no intention of selling the youngster, while the player himself is not considering leaving the Bernabeu.
Indeed, the youngster impressed so much that Bayern’s sporting director Michael Reschke claimed the club “should build a monument” for whoever signed Asensio for €3.5m from Real Mallorca.
The Spanish international has stepped up to fill the void left by Gareth Bale’s increasingly lengthy absences through injury, starting 13 games and featuring as a substitute on many more occasions.
